University of Michigan Math Qualifying Review Solutions

I have typed up solutions to some of the old QRs. By far the most well covered area is algebra, but I do have a few solutions for analysis and topology. I haven't done any serious proofreading of these so they may be full of typos. I may have even made fundemental mistakes. You've been warned. Algebra

By far the most comprehensive, my algebra solutions are available in three forms:

• Original LaTeX file. To compile this you will also need my customizations in QR.sty.
• PDF file
• DVI file which is easy to print out on most Unix systems using the dvips command

Analysis

My analysis solutions are available in three forms:

Topology

Applied Analysis

I never looked at the applied analysis exam, let alone attempted to take it. But who knows, maybe one day I will get bored and type up some solutions.
