Antiques Roadshow, of sorts, in the lower floors of the Zürich's train station
Looking out the window of our hostel room. It was a nice place right in the middle of town.
Don't get too excited, that fountain could be mounted on a novelty keychain in comparison to Geneva's jet d'eau.
Part of a large topiary clock by the lake. Of course this is Switzerland and they have a clock related repulation to uphold, so I'll try not to rub it in their faces that Inverness, Scotland has one that is even nicer.)
Pull the head back and out comes the candy. But good luck fitting it in your mouth.
The upper part of the Freestyle.ch ramp that ramained standing.
The lower part of the Freestyle.ch ramp, collapsed into a pile of rubble. At the bottom center of the frame you can see some of the snow that covered it. It collapsed around 9am Saturday, only a couple hours before we arrived and noticed monitors announ
Jeremy at the base of the big ramp. The whole event complex was closed off, but a couple vendors hung on along the sidewalk selling bratwurst to those who came to see the destruction.
The lake's outlet passing through Zürich at sunset.
A cool funicular that comes right out of an otherwise inconspicuous building. We passed the entrance on the other side but didn't notice it until we returned looking for it. The funicular goes up the hill to the university.
